Well as you can see our hosts have upgraded the forum. I had nothing to do with it, its done automatically. No doubt there are a lot of good things about this..although I would have liked to keep the old style as I got used to it. Still , no doubt its all for the best!!
Thanks Padraig. I thought something was wrong with my browser when I first visited the forum this morning. Any way the administrator can get rid of the ads? They are a little distracting. Tom
Hi Tom, The forum is free, but the snag is I would have to pay to block ads. You can set your browser to block ads automatically. Otherwise you have to go to the treasure chest at the bottom and pay for this. I suppose you can't blame them for trying to make a little money, they give a good service
Padraig, I think I'll like the new upgrade once the initial shock wears off. After all, it's ultimately who I'm spending time with that matters! I checked, Terry , I cannot see the ads because I get excused them as I am running the forum, so that is why I cannot see them they are deleted for me. If anyone really wants to delete the ads they can do so by paying for this by going to the Community Chest at the bottom of the forum and clicking. But only if you want to and as the Spirit moves you, of course. \the forum is free ,so of course they are going to look to plough back a little money one way or the other, I suppose.
