Precious vessel, worthy of the whole world's reverence, you are an ever-shining light, the crown of virginity, the symbol of orthodoxy, an indestructible temple, the place that held him whom no place can contain, mother and virgin. Because of you the holy gospels could say: Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. We salute you, for in your holy womb he, who is beyond all limitation, was confined. Wow - what a prayer and from the 4th or 5th century. Let us on this forum advance in holiness through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary to whom this site is dedicated. The worst fruit of Vatican II - a decay in devotion to our Blessed Mother. Let us work to restore a genuine and mystical Marian piety for that is what distinguishes the lives of the saints. There is not a saint who has not had devotion to the Mother of God. Mother Mary we love you!! 'Blessed are you amongst all women and Blessed is the fruit of thy womb JESUS'!
There is a young man in our parish who is just returning to the faith. He however was having a difficult time understanding Our Blessed Mother. I gave him a CD by Rosalind Moss on Mary our Mother. After listening to it he went into prayer and was moved by what came to him. He shared his prayer with me, I share it with you.
