I had heard of this some while ago and was delighted. However, recent events in the UK suggest that Muslim migrants 'convert' to Christianity as a means of staying in our country because apostate Muslims are persecuted and killed in their countries of origin. The recent suicide bombing in Liverpool was by a supposed convert from, I think, Iraq. He was no such thing, although he took in a number of devout Anglicans and was baptised and confirmed after his asylum request had been refused. He was able to remain in the UK to perpetuate an atrocity which could have been far, far worse had the bomb detonated correctly. Recent reports suggest he was in close contact with his local mosque. So, very sadly, we have to be careful what we believe.
The report relates to Muslims converting in millions and in their own countries and at great risk to themselves. The conversion to obtain immigrant status ploy does not involve thousands of conversions let alone millions.
I was going to recommend you check out Father Zakaria Botros. He is an Egyptian Orthodox Coptic priest who was expelled from Egypt for his work in converting Muslims to Christianity. He retired from active ministry in 2003 to focus on his TV and internet evangelization organization. His website is at https://www.fatherzakaria.net/ . His Books link has over 100 texts, in both Word and PDF format, on Christianity and the errors in the Quran and within Islam. Note that I can't find anything from him newer than 2015, as Al Qaeda has placed a $60,000,000 bounty on his head. If they've got that much money on his head, clearly someone views him as an existential threat to Islam.
I have heard him interviewed a while ago on the Jesse and Terry show. His life is in danger frequently because he is so successful in opening Muslim heats.

Reminds me of Walid Shoebat. He claims to have been a Palestinian terrorist in Israel before coming to Christ. (His claims of being a terrorist have been disputed.) He's been big in Evangelical circles for a while, ministering to Muslim-Based Believers. He was also rabidly anti-Catholic based on some experiences in Israel. Which is why I was so surprised to learn that he had converted to Catholicism. Apparently he had gone to Mexico City to study the Tilma of Guadalupe with the goal of discrediting it. Instead, he found so many symbols showing that Chistianity (and specifically Our Lady) is superior to Islam that he felt compelled to convert. One such symbol is the name of Our Lady itself. Transliterating "Guadalupe" into Arabic gives you, "Wada Lubba", which means "Love is in her core." I'm at work and can't look up the artcle describing all of this, I'll do it this evening.

I recall reading that the first person to notice the figure on the roof was working in the garage across the street. He thought one of the nuns was going to throw herself off the roof, but when he called attention to her, she just stood waiting. The neat thing is that this man had been having back problems and was scheduled to go into surgery for it the next day. But when he showed up at the hospital the next morning, the doctors couldn't find any evidence of any problem!

I used to watch Walid Shoebat's YouTube videos when he was a convinced Protestant. He used to say that Christianity and Islam were in total opposition to each other and that Christians should oppose Islam in every way possible. I contacted him and told him that while Catholicism had historically fought Islam, Protestantism had either ignored it or, when Catholics fought them as at the time of the Battles of Lepanto and Vienna, actively cheered them on. I said that if he considered Islam to be the greatest enemy of Christianity, then he should abandon Protestantism for never having fought it. He responded and admitted to knowing nothing about these battles or the attitude of the Protestant world at the time and said that he would investigate. I did not receive a further response but was delighted to note later that he had become a Catholic and consider that I had a part in that conversion.
