Thanks Mario and Merry Christmas to all you guys from up north. I went to Christmas mass last night in St Patrick’s Te Puke (pronounced Luke eh) a small town 15 minutes from here are and part of our Parish, All Saints by the Sea. It was a reopening mass the church having been closed for 3 years for earthquake proofing. There was standing room only. I heard from Luke’s wife Josie yesterday and she is doing fine. Off to my own church now, St Thomas More, for Christmas day mass. Its a glorious hot summer day. May even go for a dip in the sea.
I'm jealous! I wonder if Jesus ever went for a dip in the Mediterranean Sea? Dear Lady and Christ Child, bless us!
We are expecting lots of rain tomorrow but we will be all together at our home. I thank God for that blessing. I will remember you all tonight at midnight Mass. Lovely to hear from you Joe.
