    Hi all.

I did not know where best to post this so started a new thread/ hope it’s ok.

Does anyone know or have recent travel to Germany from US and know what their COVID travel restrictions and requirements are?

I’ve searched and am finding conflicting /unclear requirements.

    thanks

Hi, Miker. My daughter was signed up for a school trip to Germany and a few other countries at the end of June. From what we were prepared for, the traveler needs to be fully vaccinated (two shots) within the last 6 months I believe - with proof. If not, they need to be boosted at least two weeks before travelling to the country - again with proof. Also, they require N-95 masks everywhere. So the traveler(s) should stock up on them. Double-check me, but I am pretty sure this is the rule. Upon return to the U.S., travelers will need a negative covid test.

Thanks Patrick. I’m being asked by the German firm I recently joined to travel in July. I read the vaccination requirement similarly as you, although there appeared to be a very convoluted group of exceptions.

I hope your daughter has a great and safe trip!
