I just saw that one could pray a 54 day Rosary Novena starting on All Saints Day & ending Christmas Eve. It takes in Advent, some great feast days, not to mention starting on All Saints Day ~ I'm going to try for it, and include the intentions of the members of the forum along with the "Derry Lads" ~ there's 10 days left to rev up for it We wrote letters to Santa as children - I think now would be a good time to write one to Our Lady, asking her help. I have no doubt she'll do what she can, in honour of Christmas ~ Join me if you're so inclined!
I have a very little book called "Rosary Novenas to Our Lady" that I use for the 54 day Novena. But really, do whatever is best for you ~ even just the effort alone, imho, is worth a lot ~
I'm already doing 54 Day Rosary Novena but I'll see if I can fit another in. My intentions are simply that I can be a good and holy farmer, husband and father; and that I have farmland to farm, and wife to marry and love, children to love and raise, and that I can save all their souls.
Me too Rory, I would like to join this 54 day rosary intention. It is a Holy and marvellous idea, Lois. God bless us all
Well, it's almost Nov 1st. Just a reminder for those still interested. My own letter is as follows: Dear Blessed Mother Mary, I come to your feet, a miserable sinner once again begging your help. I offer these prayers for the needs of all the souls who spend time in "your living room", for our families and our communities. Obtain for us dear Mother, the grace we need to persevere in faith, hope and charity, in accordance with the will of your Son. Amen God bless....and stay safe tomorrow.
Hi, I am just wondering if you are going to start the thanksgiving petitions tomorrow Sunday the 27th or Monday the 28th. Thanks!
Tomorrow will be the last day for praying in petition; Monday, the 28th, we'll start praying in thanksgiving, ending on Christmas Eve ~ Wishing everyone a fruitful Advent Season ~
